White Pine

Available Sizes: 5′ – 12′

The White Pine (Pinus strobus) is a towering evergreen conifer with soft, flexible needles that grow in clusters of five. Green in summer, they take on a soft, bluish hue in winter. The White Pine produces elongated brown cones that are 3-8” in length. Young trees have a pyramid shape, but develop a more rounded crown with drooping branches as they mature. This pine thrives best in full sun or partial shade, reaching a height of 50‘–80′ and a spread of 20‘–40′ at maturity.
